Welcome to the EDT 415 Spring 2013 Wiki Assignment
For Week 3 April 2 (after Spring Break) Just do # 1 & 2 and post them on your Wiki page. The full assignment (1-4) is due April 16
You each have a page here and will do the wiki assignment on your page. The assignment is as follows:
1. Subject: The subject of the lesson should be in an area in which you are not an expert or don't like (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) and should cover a topic with which you have trouble with or are unfamilar with yourself.
2. Grade Level: 3-6
3. Each member will create their own lesson plan following CCSU's template (see link on the Moodle for template) The lesson plan must be completely filled out and include the following:
a. Objectives
b. Content standards —one or more (See Content Standards link on the Moodle)
c. Technology standards (see ISTE NETS' link on the Moodle)
d. The Lesson must use at least one educational technology teacher tool using any of the web 2.0 tools we study or you find on your own. Embed the activity into your lesson plan.
4. Each member will create a presentation using a screen recording program and embed that on your wiki. The presentation will explain the lesson to a substitute teacher and how to teach it because you will not be there.
